How Well Do Know These Chapters from Famous Books?

It’s high time for another Tea and Ink Society literary quiz!

Reading is supposed to make you smarter, so let’s test your literary knowledge and recall! I’ll give you a chapter title from a famous book (some classic, some modern), and you tell me which book it came from. To make things more fair and to jog your memory, this quiz is multiple choice. That being said, the multiple choice options are deliberately chosen to mislead you (or in some cases, to make you laugh), so perhaps it’s not such a boon after all!

In any case, I hope reading these clever and iconic chapter titles will make you remember beloved scenes from beloved books–or inspire you to discover them for the first time.

There are four levels with corresponding prizes you can win, based on how many chapter titles and books you correctly match. Click the red “Start Quiz” button to begin. When you reach the end of the quiz, you can click the green “Play Again” button if you’d like to give it another go.

    1. I did terribly haha. I read a lot but the chapter titles don’t often stick out to me. Though many of these are also on my tbr. I only got 7/20.

  1. 14 out of 20; I was actually surprised I remembered that many chapter titles. And yes, I had to take the quiz again once I knew all the correct answers to see what the Level 4 prize was!
